“Together we have many years of experience in this industry and other more main stream professions, with other forms of natural therapies, as daughters, mother, wives and friends. We are just real people wanting nothing more than to let others know how wonderful Japanese Yoga actually is, sharing something that we think is worth the effort.
There is no religion here, just a highly developed form of exercise that we have seen help people physically and emotionally.
We won’t tell you that another teacher is not worth a visit – that is not what yoga is about. Helping others to learn safe yoga practices and the promotion of good health is what we do as yoga teachers/therapists. That to us, is what yoga is all about.
One of our teachers spoke the other day about why she just started yoga. She said that it made her feel good, and that she started it as just another form of exercise. Then after a while, as her practice improved she started notice a form of clarity and calmness was influencing other aspects of her life. This came to her without effort, with no restrictions or rules and definitely without plan. This is true health.
And true health is to be health and happy. Achieving a healthy body and healthy mind through yoga practice. That’s what it is all about.
Just like a car, if your body is looked after and fine-tuned it will run better, go faster, slow down when needed and look good for years to come.
You don’t have to be perfect or thin. You don’t have to be flexible or have a dogmatic aversion to gluten, fast food and a glass of wine.
You just need to try it, because we know if you do, you will like it!”
